Inserting a Signature
You can insert a signature element directly into a Documaker document using the Insert Signature task pane.
To insert a signature into a Documaker document
- To insert a new signature, place your cursor in the Documaker document where you want to insert the signature.
- Open the Insert Signature task pane by completing one of the following steps:
- From the Insert group, click Signature.

- Right-click in a Documaker document and select Documaker, Insert Signature.
The Insert Signature task pane opens.
- Complete one of the following steps:
- Double-click the signature you want to insert
-OR-
- Right-click the signature you want to insert, then select Insert

- Click the signature you want to insert once to highlight it, then click the Insert button at the bottom of the task pane
-OR-
- Click a signature to highlight it, then click a letter on your keyboard to quickly jump to the first signature beginning with that letter, then double-click the signature to insert it
- If the signature you want to insert is not available, click
to create a new signature resource. The New Signature dialog appears. After creating a new signature resource, complete the previous step to insert it.
